We have updated our nhanes.tools R package that is available on Github at this repository. NHANES now has data for 2013-2014, and the package has an internal listing of all data files from the NHANES website through today (13 July 2016). If you want as list of all of the NHANES files, just use the function “find_data()” within the package. You can also generate an up-to-the-moment list of NHANES files using the function “get_nhanes_listing()”. As long as the CDC hasn’t changed their website, or there are substantive changes to the rvest or xml2 packages in R, it should download a current listing of the publicly available datasets.
