In Europe and other parts of the world, budget impact and cost-effectiveness models need to be adapted in order to secure local reimbursement. The adaptation process ensures that a consistent model and message are presented across countries (and across regions within countries). It also ensures that the message is appropriate for the locality in which the new model is required. Working closely with local affiliates, and also with local consultants (as appropriate), we adapt our models for use in other regions. And, we don’t do this from our offices in the United States – we travel to the countries and talk to people face-to-face. We do this to make sure that we understand what needs to be done.
