We specialize in analyzing SEER-Medicare data, not only for solid tumors but also for lymphoma and leukemia (and eventually, myeloma). We have published our SEER Medicare work in a variety of journals, including Blood, BMC Cancer, Annals of Oncology, American Journal of Hematology, and Pharmacoeconomics. In addition, we have presented our findings at meetings for the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society of Hematology (ASH), International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), and the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS).
We created a summary of all of the SEER Medicare publications through 2012, which is available on the publications page of National Cancer Institute (NCI) SEER Medicare website. A direct link to the Powerpoint presentation is here.
We have also given a presentation at ISPOR 2011 on the use of inverse probability weighting to predict long-term costs of care using SEER Medicare data. The presentation can be downloaded here.
We hold ourselves to the highest academic standards in all of our research, but this is particularly true for our SEER Medicare projects. All SEER Medicare research is conducted with an unrestricted right to publish our findings, as required by the NCI. This enables us to conduct work for clients, as well as to conduct our own, self-funded research projects. Please see the following editorial for more about our SEER Medicare work. Below is a listing of our SEER Medicare publications:
